Dinny and Rex, the Cabazon Dinosaurs are much more popular these days than what I remember as a child.

Back then, it seemed the dinos sat in the middle of the desert all alone. Nothing around. Even as a child, I found it odd seeing these massive guys just standing there. What a sight!

If you look carefully, you can see Julia sitting on Rex's toe. Shows you how huge he is!

We got to climb in him and sit inside his mouth! I never did this as a kid- didn't even know you could!

It's been atleast 25 years since I was there last. And though it's still cool to see, it was hard not to notice that Dinny and Rex are now in company with a couple of fast food joints. There is also a museum which is overpriced and weird- I didn't expect all the religious creationism propaganda.

My kids loved it and the look in their eyes were much like mine when I was little.
