I made this for Super Bowl Sunday and it was such a hit!
I've made it a few times before and it's absolutely the best chili I have ever had. No really, I'm serious. If you like chili, you need to try it. And if you like chili and end up not liking this one, then there is something wrong with you.
This is what you need:
1 pound ground turkey
2 cans low sodium tomato soup
1 can kidney beans, drained
1 can black beans, drained
1 can white cannellini beans, drained
1 can of corn, drained
1 can stewed diced tomatoes
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
2 tablespoons chili powder
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1/2 tablespoon ground cumin
1 pinch ground black pepper
1 pinch ground allspice
This is what you do:
Brown the turkey in a skillet.
Lightly spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
Dump the turkey along with all the other ingredients into the slow cooker and give it a little mix with a large spoon.
Cover and cook for atleast 7 hours on low.
I like to add chopped cilantro and a dollop of sour cream to my bowl! My brothers and nephews loved it on hotdogs.
So good.
